Apache Language II
Greetings! My name is Monica Loas. I am from Bylas. I am from the “descending into the water peaks people” (clan) and born for the “connecting mountain people” (clan). I have been teaching Apache Language & Culture I on-line (Zoom) since 2021 and recently added in Apache Language II to my list of courses I teach. I am an enroll member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe. I am honored to teach for the San Carlos Apache College.

I have worked in the field of education for over 25 years. I am a certified teacher and have taught in various schools such as Whiteriver Elementary, Cibecue Community school and Fort Thomas Elementary. I am currently working in Fort Thomas as an Apache Language teacher and in the Media Center. I have my English as a Second Language, Reading Specialist and Apache Language endorsements. My M.Ed.
