Economics Instructor, Gregory Redhouse

Ya’at’eeh (greetings)!  I am Gregory Redhouse (he/him), a culturally-inclined member of the Navajo Nation.  I am the proud father of three children: Haylei, Bradley, and Octavia.  As a U.S. Marine Veteran, I benefitted from the Montgomery G.I. Bill.  I possess an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Master of Arts in American Indian Studies (AIS) with a concentration in Federal-Indian law and policy, a Master of Arts in Higher Education, a Master of Science in Economic Development & Entrepreneurship, and a Ph.D. in AIS with a focus in Native Nation-building.  Over the years, I have instructed a variety of courses at different Tribal Colleges & Universities (TCUs); including mainstream institutions.  As an adjunct faculty-member with San Carlos Apache College, I instruct online courses in both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.

My work experience is extensive and includes working with a diverse student population and catering to people of different cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, genders, and disabilities. I also volunteer in seminars hosted by the Warrior Scholar Project (WSP); providing lectures and helpful guidance to younger veterans separating from the military and transitioning to the university environment.
