San Carlos Apache College Welcomes Newest Regent to Board of Regents

San Carlos, Arizona — San Carlos Apache College is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerri Sangster to its Board of Regents. Ms. Sangster brings an impressive amount of experience and a deep commitment to education, community development, and cultural preservation to the Board.

As the newest member of the Board of Regents, Ms. Sangster will help guide the college’s mission of “upholding the power of Apache wisdom and knowledge” to provide culturally relevant, accessible, and high-quality education to San Carlos Apache tribal members and others.

Ms. Kerri Sangster is a highly respected leader in the community, known for her role as an Employee Development Coordinator at San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation, achieving a Master’s in Education from Arizona State University, and sitting on the Advisory Board for the University of Arizona, College of Medicine, Wassaja Center. Her passion for fostering educational opportunities and preserving the rich heritage of the San Carlos Apache Tribe will play a critical role in shaping the direction of the college as it continues on its journey to support generations of students.
